MEETING POINT 01: GRASSROOTS STUFF

MEETING POINT is a new performative video series initiated by Alex Kunu, blending underground safe zones, temporary utopias and collective presence through real-time documentation of live acts.

The first episode, Grassroots Stuff, a real-time music docufiction unfolds underneath a 2-meter-tall table originally designed for the installation The Faith of the Pagan Woman. That work symbolically addressed social exclusion and spiritual hypocrisy in a Christian democratic context. This sculptural object originally featured a glowing "meeting point" sign—a symbol of gathering, protection, and visibility. Now, this same sculptural structure becomes the site of a nocturnal ritual—a surreal congregation of dancers, paper puppets, noise, intimacy, and chaos.

No institutions, no permission. It’s messy. It’s sincere. It’s grassroots stuff.
